Millersville Incident

Dear Eshleman Families,

This letter is to inform you of a situation that occurred this morning prior to the start of school. As you may have heard on the news, there was an attempted robbery at the local Subway early this morning.  Millersville police notified the school at approximately 8:40 am that the suspect had fled on foot and they were confident he was no longer in the area. As a precaution, marked and unmarked police cars patrolled the area during the arrival of students.  In collaboration with police and superintendent, it was deemed that lock down measures were not necessary. The exterior doors were rechecked for security and morning recesses were kept indoors. All activities proceeded without any interruption to the students.

At the distribution of this letter to students, teachers read the letter and explained that there was no threat to our school throughout the day. Thank you for your continued support of our school community.
