Math 24 Challenge

Attention Families of Eshleman Students in 4th Grade Math or Above:

Beginning on Tuesday, October 4th, Mrs. St. John would like to offer an after school opportunity for students to participate in learning and playing the 24 Game.  The 24 Game is a mental math activity where students use basic math operations and combinations of 4 numbers to find the answer of 24.  Different levels of the game are available to meet the needs of students from the 4th grade math level through and including Algebra 2.  The group will continue to meet for at least the remainder of the 1st marking period.  We will evaluate the interest level at that point and determine whether or not to continue.

The 24 Game Club will meet in Mrs. St. John’s classroom from dismissal until 4:30.  Students will not be permitted to stay unless there is a signed permission slip on file.  You must notify the school office if your child will not be staying on a particular Tuesday or if your child chooses to stop attending the club.

Please return the permission slip below to either Mrs. St. John or the school office by Friday, September 30.  You may contact Mrs. St. John with any questions about the club.  She can be reached at: or 872-9540 x3627.
