I love being a neighbor to Millersville University because we are fortunate enough to reap the rewards of some of their knowledge. Today, we hosted four students from the university physics club. They visited our fifth grade classrooms and showed us some awesome science demonstrations. One demonstration used liquid nitrogen and changed a marshmallow into a hard piece of candy. Our visitors also used the van-de-graaff generator to show basic transferring of electric energy. Take a look at some of footage captured today during the presentation.
And children were able to help out with some of the experiments.
