Helping hands within our community – free meals tomorrow.

“The cold turn in the weather this week is a reminder that although many of us are ready for spring, winter isn’t quite ready to let go. Regardless of what the weather brings, the team from CHI St. Joseph Children’s Health will outside of the Pequea Township Police Department (53 Marticville Rd) tomorrow March 18th sharing meals with our neighbors in the Penn Manor Community as part of our Crisis Meals Initiative. Starting at 10:30 we will be providing meal sets (5 nutritious dinners, fresh fruit and snacks) for each household member of those who participate. We’ll have enough meal sets to serve 250 people. There are no income requirements and no need to pre-register. If you have a need, just come and see us tomorrow morning. If you don’t have a need but know someone who does please share this information. “
