Arrival/Dismissal Instructions

Morning Arrival 

Students who are eating breakfast in the cafeteria may enter the building at 8:35 using the gym lobby doors.  Students who are not eating breakfast in the cafeteria may enter the building at 8:50 through the front doors.   

Cars dropping off students in the morning for breakfast should use the second entrance or bus lane.  Vehicles should use the left hand lane to pull up to the second cross walk.  A staff member will help students out of the vehicle.     

Cars dropping off students who are not eating breakfast should use the first entrance on the left to pull into the center lane of the parking lot.  Students will be directed by a staff member to exit the vehicle starting at 8:50.  Students are to remain in vehicles until 8:50.  A staff member will assist students crossing the cross walk in front of the main doors.  

Please have your student ready to exit the vehicle.  Parents/guardians should remain in the vehicles.  

Walkers who are not eating breakfast should not arrive at school earlier than 8:50.  

Afternoon Dismissal 

Car Riders - All vehicles picking up a students should have a name placard visible displayed for staff members to see.  

Blue lane cars should use the second entrance on the left to pull into the bus lane.  Blue lane car riders will be dismissed from the front lobby doors.    

Gold lane cars should use the first entrance on the left to pull into the parking lot.  Staff members will help your student(s) safely cross the bus lane to get to your vehicle.  Gold lane car riders will be dismissed from the gym lobby doors.    

Should you need an additional name placard or to know your lane, please contact the main office at (717) 872-9540.  

Busses will arrive at 3:30.  If you arrive after the busses, please use the first entrance on the left to pull into the parking lot even if you are assigned to the blue lane.  

DO NOT PULL AROUND ANOTHER CAR.  IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU STAY IN LINE UNTIL EXITING THE PARKING LOT.  PULLING AROUND ANOTHER VEHICLE CREATES A SAFETY HAZARD.  

Walkers - Walkers will be dismissed from the gym lobby doors after car riders.  Adults meeting walkers should go to the sidewalk to the left of the gym lobby doors.    

Bus Riders - Busses will arrive to pick student up at approximately 3:30.   

Transportation Changes

If there is a change to your student(s) transportation, please contact the main office before 10:30 a.m.
